                                                                                 Ministry Update

My grandmother died with breast cancer when I was nine years old.  Since that time, there have been great strides in treating cancer.  When I found out that I had HERs2 a very aggressive breast cancer, I remembered my grandmother.  When you hear the words, "You have cancer" your life changes.  When I heard these words, I knew God was going to be glorified in spite of the bad news.  I felt that the decision to live or die was my choice.  I must say that I toggled between the two thoughts because living with Christ in the eternal far outweighs the thoughts of living in this world.  Yet, I knew that I had not completed my mission.

For several years, my friend, Natalie had been encouraging me to write a book.  At the time, I said, “Who me?  I don’t have that many words”.  It was a couple of years later that I found out about the cancer.  It was then that I started writing a journal that would turn into a book.  As the journal kept growing, one day at my dining room table, I heard, “Lights of Glory”.  I knew my story had become a book.  We use this book as a tool in ministering to many hurting people.  Whatever you are facing, there is hope for your situation.

Mike and I feel compelled to go further in the ministry.  Where satan once used our past to hinder our calling, we have left the past behind and are going forward declaring the truth of God.  We are determinded to walk according to the will of God doing our best to advance and build the Kingdom of God.  Just as God gave us the title to the book, He has also given us the name of our ministry.  Lights of Glory Ministries, Inc. is now a non-profit organization able to give tax deductions for contributions.  Your contributions will help open doors to the ministry making more opportunities available for us to spread a word of hope and encouragement.  We realize that we have only a short time to do the work we have been called to.  The signs are everywhere, our Lord is soon to return.  We pray you are doing all that you can to serve the Lord and declare His name as truth.

                                                URGENT  UPDATE!

It is with sadness that I must announce that Coastal Oncolcogy called at the last minute asking me not to speak about the Lord Jesus Christ.  I decided that I would not speak at their support group meeting due to the restrictions that they were wanting to place upon me.  As I stated to them, I cannot give my story without giving credit to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are the temple of the Holy Spirit.  When the Lord is not welcome, then I am not welcome.  I abide in Christ and He abides in me.  I will not separate myself from Him.

We are living in a day where we must make a stand on our faith.  If we do not, then we only have ourselves to blame when all religious rights have been stripped from us.

This meeting was scheduled at
Coastal Oncology
325 Clyde Morris Suite 450

What's in your hands?
Mike and I spoke at the Christian Fellowship Church in Luella, Texas on Sunday was a great time with wonderful friends and loved ones in the Lord.  God spoke to us collectively to go forth in love sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Just as God spoke to Moses, "What's in your hand?"  Whatever we have in our hand should be used to spread the love of God.  Moses had a rod...what do you have in your hand?

God's Love
Thank you to the Hugh Ash Manor residents for welcoming me and allowing me to speak on the love of God and thank you for sharing your afternoon with me.  All of you were very kind.  God touched each of us as we learned that we too can be just as open before the Lord as David was in expressing his heart in the Psalms.  Psalm 139 reminded each of us how precious we are to God.

Be encouraged and trust in the Lord with all your heart.

                                                    In His Service,

Dead but Alive
It was my pleasure to be a part of and speak to a wonderful group of women at Strong Tower Christian Fellowship.  It was amazing to see how God was confirming His word to each of us.  God meets us in our darkest moments.  Jesus brought healing and raised the dead on several occasions where He was thought to be too late.  His timing may be different than our timing.  He can bring your dreams alive.  Stand firm in what He has spoken to your heart.

                                                      Live in Christ,
                                                            Peggy

Please keep checking back.  We will be listing new events once we have them confirmed.
